T&T Hosts First Letter Writing Event for Children in Uganda

On July 26th, 2019 Tate & Tryon will host our first letter writing event benefiting Save the Children.

This is the first of two letter writing events we’ll be holding this year during which our staff will come together to write letters to children living in the same communities as our sponsored children, Berlandjina and Patrick.  Check out this article to learn more about our child sponsorship initiative.

During this event, we will be writing letters to children in the Wakiso District of Uganda where Patrick lives.

According to Save the Children, many of the kids in their programs have either never received a letter from their sponsor, or haven’t received one in more than a year.  These letters often become some of their most treasured possessions and so we are thrilled to be able to fill this need!  Once our letters are complete, we will mail them back to Save the Children, who will distribute them on behalf.

We’re looking forward to hosting this event and giving our staff an opportunity to make an extraordinary and meaningful impact in a child’s life.

Stay tuned for additional updates and details about our second letter writing event later this year in which we’ll be writing to children living in Berlandjina’s community in Haiti.
