Tate & Tryon is very pleased to once again be sponsoring NYN Media’s Annual Nonprofit BoardCon on February 5, 2019.

Outsourcing partner, Anna Hofmeister will be speaking at a panel discussion entitled ” Board Responsibilities: Checklist and Toolkit.”  A nonprofit’s board of directors has multiple, equally important responsibilities to fulfill, from setting the strategic plan, examining operations, and acting as public figures for the nonprofit.  In this session, Anna and her fellow panelists will discuss where to begin, important tools and resources for board members, as well as balancing daily and monthly responsibilities while keeping up with the organization’s strategic planning.

    Anna M. Hofmeister is the partner in charge of Tate & Tryon’s Outsourced Services practice with more than 20 years’ experience serving nonprofit organizations. Ms. Hofmeister is a frequent speaker on nonprofit accounting and financial management topics; and in her role as an interim or permanent CFO, Ms. Hofmeister also frequently presents to finance committees and boards of directors on topics such as: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); improving financial performance; cash flow forecasts; effective and efficient business operations; internal control design and documentation; aligning charts of accounts and financial statements to conform with strategic objectives; federal and private grant accounting requirements; U.S. and foreign operations; and unrelated business income. Anna is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from George Mason University.
