Co-founded in 2006 and presented annually by Tate & Tryon and West, Lane & Schlager, the Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards luncheon recognizes and honors the contributions of nonprofit financial executives who demonstrate a vision for operational excellence, innovation in finance and management, exceptional leadership and commitment to improving accountability.

- Nonprofit CFO of Year – awarded to an outstanding CFO, currently making a vital contribution to the leadership of a well-recognized nonprofit, as right hand of the executive director and mentor of the team – someone who has impact on the performance of the whole organization and whose stature enables them to serve as an example of all that is best in the nonprofit world.
- Association CFO of the Year – awarded to an outstanding CFO of an association with less than 100 staff.
- Philanthropic Organization CFO of the Year – awarded to an outstanding CFO of a nonprofit with less than 100 staff.
- Rising Star – awarded to a class of outstanding CFOs of a nonprofit (40 or under)
Nominations are due July 1, 2018. The winners will be recognized at the 2018 Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards Luncheon on October 11, 2018, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.
