Jay Sciuto is an audit partner with the firm. He has over 20 years of public accounting experience with Tate & Tryon solely servicing the nonprofit sector. As a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Mr. Sciuto is an accredited expert in fraud prevention and detection. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked at Department of Defense and the Office of the Inspector General, where for over three years, he performed compliance and performance audits of DOD agencies, as well as external contractors and participated in various inquiries of Jay Sciuto is a partner within the Firm’s Audit and Assurance Services practice and has more than 20 years of public accounting experience with Tate & Tryon solely servicing the nonprofit sector.
Mr. Sciuto manages the audit and consulting engagements for a wide variety of clients including trade and membership associations, charitable organizations, related for-profit subsidiaries, political action committees, and pension plans. He also has extensive experience with auditing federal award programs in accordance with the Uniform Guidance/OMB Circulars.
Mr. Sciuto oversees the training and mentoring programs within the Firm’s audit practice. In addition, he is actively involved in the Firm’s campus recruiting efforts and oversees the summer internship program for accounting students.
