Congratulations to the 2012 Nonprofit CFO of the Year Honorees Print Article

Tate & Tryon is pleased to congratulate the recipients of the 2012 Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards.  The 2012 honorees were formally recognized at the 2012 Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards Luncheon on January 24th at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.

2012 Nonprofit CFO of the Year
Stanley M. Berman, Chief Financial Officer, Global Impact

As CFO for Global Impact, Stanley Berman has shaped critical business strategies and operational policies that have made the organization fiscally stronger, more agile and more effective while maintaining the highest level of financial integrity and accountability.  “Global Impact’s integrity and sound governance are at the core of our success,” said Renée S. Acosta, President, Global Impact. “Stan’s strong fiscal management helps to drive Global Impact’s standards and accountability.”   

2012 Transformational Leader: 
Kimberly A. McKinnish, Chief Financial Officer, National Beer Wholesalers Association

As CFO, Kimberly is a key member of the executive team and is responsible for setting financial policy and direction, managing and coordinating the association’s day-to-day financial operations. Her contribution to the association’s fiscal performance and her guidance as an effective manager has resulted in major improvement in the organization’s overall operations. McKinnish has revamped the budget process to align with NBWA’s strategic plan and is now spearheading a task force for developing and enhancing non-dues revenue.     

2012 Nonprofit CFO Rising Star:
Jason R. Daisey, Chief Financial Officer, Associated Builders and Contractors

Since joining ABC, Jason Daisey has revamped financial reporting using up-to-date technology and led an effort to install a new AMS system for ABC and its 75 chapters. His efforts also led to substantial refunds from the IRS, enabling savings have been integral to maintaining services to ABC members during tough economic times. Despite the challenging times, Jason continued to take on additional responsibility and lead the charge in making sure ABC's finite resources are allocated in ways that help provide maximum member value.
