Tate & Tryon is pleased to annouce that it has been named one of the “100 Best Accounting Firms to Work For” in 2009 by Accounting Today, the premier news vehicle for the tax and accounting professions, and Best Companies Group.  

This survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the accounting industry, benefiting the nation's economy, its workforce and businesses. The Best Accounting Firms to Work for list comprises a total of 100 firms across the country. 

This recognition is especially noteworthy as the application consisted of two parts, one of which included our own staff completing a survey about their experience at Tate & Tryon. The second part consisted of evaluating each nominated firm's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Tate & Tryon strives to be one for the best companies to work for in the Washington DC area and we are very proud to be publicly recognized for these efforts.  We are fortunate to have some of the best and most talented nonprofit accounting professionals working for us and we hope this honor will continue to help us keep the high-caliber professionals our clients have come to know as part of the Tate & Tryon team.  An actual ranking of the Best Accounting Firms list is expected to be released on December 14, 2009.
