Background Mary Campagnolo is the Director of Marketing at Tate & Tryon is responsible for managing the Firm’s marketing and business development initiatives. Prior to joining the Firm, Mary was a research associate with the Marketing Leadership Council where she authored numerous case-based best practices research briefs in response to various tactical and strategic challenges facing Council members within the financial services and retail industries. A few of these research briefs include “Communicating Product Retirement to Customers,” “Positioning Premium Private Label Retail Products in the Retail Industry,” and “Customizing Customer Service Delivery to Appeal to Ethnic Groups.”
Professional Experience Mary is responsible for managing all of the Firm’s marketing and promotional efforts. Her areas of focus include building brand recognition, enhancement of the clients’ experience with the Firm, marketing planning, and new business development. She works closely with the Firm’s executive team in developing the annual marketing budget and is also responsible for directing the media buy. In addition to developing and maintaining the Firm’s Web site, Mary also publishes the Firm’s monthly client newsletter.
During her first year at the Firm, Mary was instrumental in the design and roll-out of the Firm’s Customer Management Relationship (CRM) system which organizes, stores, and manages information on Firm’s current and prospective clients.
In addition, Mary has also been actively involved in managing the planning, marketing, and development of the Nonprofit CFO Awards Luncheon which is an annual awards program co-founded in 2006 by Tate & Tryon and West, Lane, & Schlager to honor nonprofit CFOs for outstanding contributions and achievements. Since its inception, this awards program has recognized the achievements of 16 CFOs within the Greater Washington nonprofit community. In 2008, the awards luncheon was hosted in conjunction with the Greater Washington Society of CPAs Annual Not-for-Profit Organizations Symposium. The combined event drew more 500 industry and private practice financial professionals and was sponsored by fourteen national and regional firms. |
