Leadership Team

Background
Alice Singdahlsen joined Tate & Tryon in December, 2011, and serves as Chief Operating Officer. She oversees the Firm’s accounting, HR, IT, marketing, and office administration functions.

Prior to joining Tate & Tryon, Alice was the Managing Director, Finance at Atlantic Media Company where she was responsible for all of the organization’s finance, accounting, facilities and IT matters. Before joining Atlantic Media Company, Alice worked in a number of in-house accounting and finance roles and started her career in public accounting.

Ms. Singdahlsen is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Richmond’s E. Claiborne Robins School of Business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
 
Professional and Industry Experience
With over twenty years of combined public accounting and public and private industry experience, Alice brings extensive senior management experience in accounting, finance, human resource management, and strategic analysis to the infrastructure of the Firm. She is responsible for driving the strategic planning process of the Firm and defining the Firm’s objectives, policies, and operating plans to ensure achievement of the Firm mission and goals.
 
Outside Activities
Outside of Ms. Singdahlsen’s professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and Newfoundland dog as well as volunteering at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church where she is a Deacon and teaches the 5 year old Sunday School class.
